Pakistan’s The Jon triumphs in Tekken 8’s most thrilling Grand Final of 2025

The Tekken World Tour 2025 Paradise Game Battle, held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 18–19, gave fans one of the greatest Grand Finals in Tekken history. Out of 114 players, the final came down to Adeel “THE JON” Sheikh from Pakistan (playing King) and “Gosain” from the United Kingdom (playing Law).

A Battle of Skill and Heart

The Jon started from the winner’s bracket, while Gosain fought hard through the loser’s side. Their early matches were close, but in Game 3, something incredible happened — King’s move broke through Law’s attack in a way that stunned both players and the crowd. It was a moment that Tekken fans will talk about for years.

After that, The Jon led 2-1, but Gosain refused to give up. He made a strong comeback, surviving with just a pixel of health and taking the 4th game. In the 5th game, after a tense back-and-forth, Gosain won to reset the bracket, setting the stage for a dramatic final showdown.

Grand Final Reset: Every Round Counts

In the reset, every single game went to the last round. Gosain won the first two games and looked ready to take the title. But in Game 3, with almost no health left, The Jon made a clutch duck against a throw, landed a big combo, and turned the tide.

That play changed everything — The Jon started a comeback that kept the crowd on their feet.

The Controversial Fourth Game

Game 4 became one of the most talked-about moments in Tekken 8. Gosain had a chance to win it all, but his final combo dropped at the wall — a rare mistake. With just 1 HP left, The Jon made another unbelievable comeback, taking the game and breaking Gosain’s rhythm completely.

The audience went wild, commentators shouted in disbelief, and social media exploded with reactions.

The Final Showdown

In the last game, Gosain took the first round easily, but The Jon answered with three straight rounds. With perfect reads, calm defense, and sharp timing, he secured the championship.

As the match ended, the crowd erupted — The Jon had done it.

Pakistan’s Tekken Power

This win adds another big name to Pakistan’s list of Tekken champions, alongside legends like Arslan Ash and Atif Butt. The Jon’s victory showed that Pakistan’s Tekken scene continues to shine on the world stage.

The TWT 2025 Grand Finals will be remembered for its comebacks, controversies, and the pure excitement that makes Tekken such a beloved game.
