Samsung Expands Galaxy AI Support to 22 Languages
Samsung has expanded its Galaxy AI by adding two new languages — Filipino and Gujarati — to make its smart features more accessible for people around the world.
Galaxy AI was first launched in early 2024 and has been growing ever since. By April 2024, it supported 16 languages, and by December, the number had reached 20. With these new additions, Galaxy AI now supports 22 languages, covering nearly 74% of the world’s population — about 5.9 billion people.
Users can now download Filipino and Gujarati language packs directly from the Settings app. Filipino is spoken by around 87 million people, while Gujarati has about 62.5 million speakers. The development of these languages was led by Samsung Research centers in Indonesia and India, showing the company’s strong regional teamwork.
Samsung shared that over 70% of Galaxy S25 users use Galaxy AI and Google Gemini, while nearly half of them depend on AI features for daily activities. With this steady growth, Samsung aims to expand Galaxy AI to more than 400 million devices by the end of 2025, after already reaching 200 million last year.
