PM Shehbaz Assures MQM-P of Support for Local Govt Law Amendments Under 27th Constitutional Amendment

In a significant political development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of his support for their proposed amendments to the local government law, which are part of the 27th Constitutional Amendment. This assurance came during a meeting at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, where a delegation from MQM-P, including Sindh Governor Kamran, party leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, and Farooq Sattar, met with the premier.
