Senior PPP leader Lal Muhammad Khan passes away
MALAKAND: Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former federal minister Lal Muhammad Khan has passed away after a long illness.
According to party sources, Lal Muhammad Khan served several terms as a member of both the National and Provincial Assemblies. He also held a seat in the Senate during the tenure of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He had been a loyal member of the PPP since the beginning of his political career.
Tributes and Condolences
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed deep sorrow over the death of the veteran leader. He prayed for the departed soul and offered condolences to the grieving family.
Governor Kundi said that Lal Muhammad Khan devoted his entire political life to serving the people. He added that Khan’s efforts for the PPP and his commitment to public welfare in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and across Pakistan will always be remembered with respect.
Lal Muhammad Khan’s passing marks the loss of a senior politician who spent decades promoting democracy and people-centered politics in Pakistan.
