Iran Vows Full Cooperation with Pakistan for Regional Peace

Islamabad: Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that Iran will extend full cooperation to Pakistan for promoting peace and stability in the region.

According to details, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. Both leaders discussed bilateral relations and the current regional situation in detail.

During the call, the two sides agreed to further strengthen the historic and friendly relations between Pakistan and Iran and to enhance bilateral cooperation in multiple areas.

Expressing concern over the ongoing tensions in Afghanistan, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that Iran is ready to work closely with Pakistan to help ensure peace in the region.

He also emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation between the two countries to contribute to resolving Afghanistan’s challenges.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar briefed his Iranian counterpart on Pakistan’s recent talks with Afghan officials and said Pakistan remains committed to taking every possible step for regional peace and stability.

Both leaders agreed to continue consultations and coordination to achieve lasting peace in the region and to further strengthen relations between Pakistan and Iran at the international level.
