Who Is HyunA? K-Pop Singer Collapses During Concert In Macau

K-pop sensation HyunA left fans concerned after she suddenly collapsed during her live performance at the Waterbomb 2025 Macau music festival on Sunday. The incident, captured by fans and widely circulated online, shows the singer fainting on stage while performing her hit song Bubble Pop!

According to reports, the concert was halted immediately as dancers rushed to assist the South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, and model. A security guard later carried her off the stage as fans watched in shock. Many took to social media expressing their concern, with comments like, “Should ensure health first,” and “Maybe it’s the heat, and I hope that she’s okay!” Some fans also pointed out the need for safer handling during such emergencies.

While the exact cause of her fainting remains unclear, speculations suggest it could be due to extreme weight loss, as HyunA recently revealed she had lost 10 kilograms in one month following rumours about weight gain after her marriage.

After recovering, HyunA addressed her fans on Instagram, writing, “I’m really sorry. It was a short break between performances, but I wanted to show you my best. I don’t remember anything that happened, and I feel like I wasn’t professional.” She added, “I’ll try to build my strength and keep working hard… Thank you for loving and supporting me from when I was so young until now.”

Born Kim Hyun-ah, the artist debuted with Wonder Girls in 2007 before joining 4Minute in 2009. She launched her solo career in 2010 with the single Change and gained global fame with Bubble Pop! HyunA married singer-songwriter Yong Jun-hyung in October 2024.
