Bollywood Actor Govinda Hospitalised After Collapsing at Home

Bollywood actor Govinda was admitted to a hospital late Tuesday night after he suddenly collapsed at his home, sources confirmed. The unexpected incident caused concern among fans and prompted his family to rush him for emergency treatment.

According to his lawyer and close friend Lalit Bindal, the actor had been feeling unwell for the past few days before the collapse. Bindal said that Govinda looked confused and disoriented before being taken to the hospital.

He added that doctors have done all necessary medical tests, and the team is now waiting for the neurologist’s assessment to understand the cause of the sudden fall. “He is stable now,” Bindal told Indian media while updating on the actor’s condition.

Hospital sources confirmed that Govinda’s condition remains under control, and no serious complications have been reported. Doctors are continuing to monitor his health closely until all reports are complete.

The actor’s family has requested privacy as he recovers, while fans across social media have been sending prayers and wishes for his quick recovery.

This hospitalisation comes a little over one year after a previous accident involving Govinda. In October 2024, the actor had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg after his licensed revolver accidentally discharged at home.

At that time, Govinda recalled the shocking moment, saying, “I was leaving for a show in Kolkata around 5 a.m. when it fell and misfired. I was shocked to see a fountain of blood coming out.” The actor had made a full recovery then and returned to work after a brief break.

For now, doctors say that Govinda is responding well to treatment, and his condition is stable. The family is expected to release an official statement once the neurologist’s final report is available.
