Notification Issued for New Positions in Federal Constitutional Court
A notification has been issued to fill vacant positions in the Federal Constitutional Court. Chief Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan approved the filling of 200 vacancies, covering posts from Grade 2 to Grade 22.
In a significant development, it was also decided to establish registries of the Federal Constitutional Court in all four provinces. Justice Amir Farooq stated, “Provincial registries will be set up across the country so that the public can conveniently file constitutional cases in their own provinces.”
He further added that “a video link facility has also been decided for the Constitutional Court. The court is currently in a transition phase and will soon become fully operational to perform its role effectively.”
This step is part of broader reforms aimed at improving access to constitutional justice and enhancing the operational efficiency of the court across Pakistan.
