Saudi Chief of General Staff Meets Pakistan’s CJCSC in Rawalpindi

H.E. General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI, NI (M), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), at the Joint Staff Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting, both military leaders reviewed the evolving global and regional security landscape and discussed practical steps to further deepen cooperation between the armed forces of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They reaffirmed their shared resolve to strengthen defence and security ties.

The CJCSC reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to safeguarding the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and ensuring the protection of “Harmain al-Sharifain.”

General Al-Ruwaili praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices made by Pakistan in its fight against terrorism. He also appreciated the CJCSC’s significant contributions to advancing the Pakistan–Saudi Arabia strategic partnership.

Upon his arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters, General Al-Ruwaili was presented with a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out tri-services contingent.
