Who is Emaan? Victim Speaks Out in Viral Rawalpindi Assault Video

A new development has emerged in the viral video showing the brutal assault and blackmail of a young woman, with the victim releasing her own video statement.

The incident, initially reported under the jurisdiction of Lohai Bher Police Station in Islamabad, was later confirmed to have occurred in Rawalpindi. The case has since been referred to the Rawalpindi Police for further investigation.

Islamabad Police stated that following the viral circulation of the video on social media, SSP Operations Retired Captain Qazi Ali Raza ordered an immediate inquiry and directed the swift arrest of the accused. Three police teams were formed to apprehend the suspects, taking both the victim and other accused into custody for detailed investigations lasting four hours.

The video was analyzed using advanced technology, and statements were recorded from both the victim and the suspects. During the investigation, the accused admitted that the victim’s allegations were accurate and confirmed that the incident had occurred one and a half months ago in Rawalpindi.

Following the investigation, the SSP submitted a report and instructed the case be referred to the relevant Rawalpindi Police authorities. A Federal Police spokesperson also confirmed that the incident took place in Rawalpindi approximately one and a half months ago.

Rawalpindi Police stated that the victim has not yet filed a written complaint but has been contacted and will soon record her statement. A formal case will be registered according to the law once her statement is recorded. The police noted that the incident spanned the jurisdictions of three police stations.

In her video, the victim said, “My name is Emaan, and this incident happened one and a half months ago.” She further added, “A girl named Sana and a boy named Arman took me to their flat on Misrial Road. They beat me, shaved my head, and recorded a video of me. Later, they took me to a flat in a private housing society, threatened me with weapons, and recorded another video.”

According to the victim, the accused included Arman, Thrani, Mithu, and a fourth unidentified person, who circulated the video online. She emphasized her desire for the perpetrators to face legal action.
