Larijani, Ishaq Dar Agree to Boost Iran–Pakistan Strategic Cooperation
Iran and Pakistan have reiterated, as per the Foreign Office on Tuesday, their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in a number of areas and expanding collaboration on regional and global issues of shared concern.
The event occurred at a meeting between Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Dr. Ali Larijani, who was on an official visit to Pakistan, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, stated a day earlier that Dr. Ali Larijani’s visit was essential to the “time-tested” bonding between the two countries entering a new strategic phase.
However, in a post on X, the ambassador urged the significance of deepening bilateral ties according to the quickly evolving international landscape and development scenarios within our regional ecosystem.
Reza Amiri Moghadam stated that the trip will focus on significantly advancing the goal to strategize bilateral bonding between both friendly countries.
Moreover, Dr. Larijani, before this happening, announced his official trip, writing in Urdu, Pakistan’s national language, through an X post.
Dr. Larijani wrote in his post that the Iranian people will never forget that during the 12-day war imposed on Iran by the US and Zionist regime, the Pakistani nation stood with the Iranian nation.
He further stated that his country always focused on strengthening brotherly relations with regional nations, terming Pakistan and Iran as two significant countries for sustainability security in the region.
