Bollywood actress Aneet Padda has shared how the overwhelming support from fans following her role in Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara has affected her emotionally. The 23-year-old actress, who is preparing for her next release Shakti Shalini, described her sudden rise to fame as “beautiful, but sometimes, it’s a lot.”
In an interview, Padda said, “I’m very sensitive. I feel things deeply. So, the responsibility of love, that weight of wanting to do right by the people who support you, that can feel pressurising. It’s beautiful, but sometimes, it’s a lot.”
Her social media presence has grown rapidly, with fans creating video edits highlighting her performances in Saiyaara, often featuring co-star Ahaan Panday. Speaking about the emotional impact of these fan-made edits, she added, “I cry once a week looking at the edits my fans make. The effort, the love, I just hope I can do justice to it.”
Padda made her acting debut with a minor role in Salaam Venky (2022), followed by a leading role in Big Girls Do Not Cry (2024) and Yuva Sapno Ka Safar. However, it was Saiyaara (2025) that brought her widespread recognition. The romantic drama, which grossed over ₹580 crore worldwide, became one of the highest-earning romantic films in Indian cinema. Her portrayal of a songwriter with early-onset Alzheimer’s earned praise from audiences and critics alike.
Looking ahead, Aneet Padda will be seen in Shakti Shalini, a horror-comedy produced by Maddock Films.
