Ahad Raza Mir Announces Break From Showbiz, Plans to Take 2027 Off

Pakistani star Ahad Raza Mir has announced that next year he plans to step away from showbiz. And give details that he needs to put his career on hold for a while to concentrate on his family and enjoy some personal time away from work.

During a live session, Ahad told his fans that he had already been preparing them for his decision to take the entire next year off. Ahad said he chose to announce the decision early so his fans would be prepared for his time away.

The actor explained that he plans to completely disconnect from work during the break and spend more time with his family. He also revealed that he intends to stay away from Instagram, describing the decision as a form of “semi-retirement.”

Ahad’s statement came as a surprise, mainly as he still has some projects aligned. However, he open the move as a short-term break rather than a permanent departure from acting.

The actor has earlier spoken about the significance of keeping a balance between his professional and personal life. His most recent announcement seems to reflect his desire to dedicate 2027 to family, personal time and a break from his busy work schedule.

Ahad remains associated with several highly anticipated projects. He is set to star alongside Yumna Zaidi in Cafe Firaaq, while his Netflix project Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo is also among his upcoming projects.
