PIA to launch Karachi–Riyadh flight in January 2026

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is starting a new weekly international flight between Karachi and Riyadh from January 2, 2026, expanding its network in Saudi Arabia. PIA already flies to Riyadh from Islamabad and Lahore.

Flight Schedule

• Flight PK729: Departs Karachi every Friday at 8:45 pm on an Airbus A320, arriving in Riyadh at 10:45 pm after a four-hour flight.

• Return Flight PK730: Leaves Riyadh early Saturday at 12:05 am, reaching Karachi at 5:10 am, taking just over three hours.

Purpose of the New Route

PIA officials said the route aims to help business travellers, expatriate workers, and families who frequently travel between Karachi and Riyadh.

This launch is part of PIA’s efforts to expand international flights, improve connectivity, and rebuild customer confidence. The new weekly flight is another step toward reviving PIA’s global presence and offering convenient travel options for passengers in Pakistan and the Gulf region.
