Check new prices of solar panels in Pakistan: 5kw to 15kw systems

Solar panel prices have recently dropped, following a decrease in electricity demand with the start of the winter season. This decline is good news for consumers planning to install solar energy systems before the summer, when prices are expected to rise again.

Reports show that solar systems ranging from 5 kW to 15 kW have become cheaper by up to Rs150,000.

5 kW Solar System Price

A 5 kW solar system now costs Rs550,000, including panels, inverter, and other accessories.

7 kW Solar System Price

The 7 kW system is priced at Rs625,000 from December 2025. It can power household appliances like two 1.5-ton inverter ACs, refrigerator, fans, lights, and a washing machine.

10 kW Solar System Price

A 10 kW solar system is available for Rs900,000, suitable for medium to large homes.

15 kW Solar System Price

The 15 kW system now costs Rs1,300,000. It is designed for high-energy users, including large homes or small businesses, and can run multiple ACs, refrigerators, fans, and other heavy appliances.

Solar GST Suspended

Recently, President Asif Ali Zardari temporarily suspended the 16% General Sales Tax (GST) on electricity generated through solar systems. This decision followed a review petition filed by solar system users. The president directed the Federal Tax Ombudsman to review the case thoroughly.
