Sheikh Naim Qassem Reaffirms Legacy of Resistance
In a speech remembering the fallen intellectuals on the route of al-Quds and during the People of Might Battle, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah, reiterated the Resistance’s lasting legacy and the sacrifices committed in its defense.
Sheikh Qassem began his speech by stressing that the purpose of the assembly was to show support for the intellectuals who had been martyred. The celebration, named “Naje’e wa Midad,” represented the strength of knowledge, the sacrifice of life, and the mixing of blood and ink, according to its organizers.
“These scholars struggled with their lives, their wealth, and everything they possessed, giving all of what they had,” Sheikh Qassem said.
He reaffirmed the commitment to victory, dignity, and steadfastness made by the Resistance, its combatants, and the families of the martyrs.
Sheikh Qassem claims that there have been 15 academics killed, including 41 religious studies students and 39 of their sons.
