Rs40,000 prize bond December 2025 winners announced

SIALKOT: The National Savings Centre, Sialkot, announced the winners of the Rs40,000 prize bond draw for December 2025 on Wednesday.

The first prize of Rs80 million was won by the holder of bond number 566979. Three second prizes of Rs30 million each went to bond numbers 131132, 202389, and 944403.

40,000 Prize Bond Winning Amount

• 1st Prize (Grand Prize): Rs. 8 Crore (1 winner)

• 2nd Prize: Rs. 3 Crore (3 winners)

• 3rd Prize: Rs. 5 Lakh (660 winners)

Tax and Zakat Information

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), any investment under the Premium Prize Bond Scheme and the profit earned from it is exempt from Zakat deduction. However, withholding tax on both the profit and prize money will apply as per the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, at rates set by the federal government.
