Gold Price in Pakistan Jumps by Rs10,700 Per Tola

KARACHI, December 12, 2025: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase on Thursday as the international market continued its upward trend.

According to the Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs10,700 per tola, pushing the new rate to Rs454,262 per tola. This is a significant jump compared to the previous day.

The price of 10 grams of gold also went up. It climbed by Rs9,174, reaching Rs389,454 per 10 grams in the local market.

International Market Surge

The rise in local prices followed a strong rally in the global market. International gold prices increased by $107 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,319 per ounce.

Local traders say demand for gold remains steady, but price movements are largely driven by global trends and currency fluctuations.
