The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced LLM and PhD scholarships for meritorious students from Balochistan, providing opportunities to study both locally and abroad.

Eligible students from Balochistan will receive LLM scholarships at local universities, while outstanding candidates may also benefit from LLM and PhD scholarships overseas. “Applicants must possess a Balochistan domicile and a valid local certificate,” the HEC stated.

The age limit for applicants is 30 years for LLM programs and 35 years for PhD studies. Candidates are required to have completed their LLB and LLM degrees with at least 50% marks and must secure a minimum of 50% in the aptitude test. The deadline for submitting applications is 13 January 2026.

In addition to scholarships, the HEC has issued the schedule for the Law Admission Test for admission to LLB programs in Pakistani universities and institutions. According to the schedule, the last date to submit applications is 29 December 2025, with the test scheduled for 25 January 2026.
