PM Pays Tribute to Migrants on International Migrants Day
Islamabad, December 18 — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to migrants across the world on International Migrants Day, praising their sacrifices, skills, and dedication. He said migrants are a strong force for economic and social development.
In his message on the occasion, the prime minister highlighted this year’s theme, “My journey, my culture and my future.” He said the theme reflects the struggles, diversity, and hopes of migrant communities worldwide.
Migrants Strengthen Societies
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said societies grow stronger when they are built on cooperation, mutual respect, and inclusion. He added that migrants play a key role in promoting these values.
He said migrants contribute through their hard work and professional skills. Their efforts help host countries grow and develop in many sectors.
Government Focus on Overseas Pakistanis
The prime minister said the government is committed to protecting the rights of overseas Pakistanis. He added that their skills and contributions are being given proper recognition.
