After 12-Day War, Iran’s Defense Industry Stronger Than Ever

Tehran, December 18, 2025 – Iran has demonstrated its growing military strength by continuing missile production without interruption following the 12-day war with Israel. The Iranian Armed Forces say their domestic missile program remains active and stronger than ever.

Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesperson for the Iranian military, spoke at Sharif University of Technology. He said Iran has invested in missile development since the early years after the Islamic Revolution and during the Sacred Defense against Saddam Hussein’s aggression.

Lessons from History Make Iran Stronger

“The eight-year Sacred Defense taught us that self-reliance in defense is crucial,” General Shekarchi said. “Since then, Iran has steadily strengthened its military, building missiles, warships, and advanced defense systems.”

During the 12-day war, Iranian missiles, designed and manufactured domestically, successfully bypassed Israel’s high-tech defense systems. The Fattah missile was particularly effective, striking strategic targets with precision.

Uninterrupted Production Boosts National Security

“Since the war, Iran’s missile factories have never stopped,” General Shekarchi emphasized. “Our continuous production ensures that Iran remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and protect its people.”

The Iranian military spokesman highlighted that the country’s defense achievements showcase self-reliance, technological progress, and national resilience, making Iran stronger than ever on the regional and global stage.
