Nationwide Protest Movement

A few days ago, JI Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman announced a nationwide movement against what he called a “rotten system.” Speaking at a reception for party workers in Lahore, he said the movement aims to address dynastic politics, strengthen local government, and ensure that elected representatives truly serve the people.

Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman also highlighted concerns over youth migration due to unemployment, the weakening of courts after constitutional amendments, and excessive fines under the e-challan system. He said Jamaat-e-Islami intends to create jobs for youth, revive sports grounds, and fight oppression and injustice.

The protests in Karachi today are part of this broader campaign, signaling the party’s intent to challenge the current system and demand accountability from authorities.
