Water Tanker Hits Motorcyclist in Karachi, One Killed

Traffic accidents continue to occur in Karachi. A water tanker hit a motorcyclist near Habib Bank Chowrangi in the Site Area, killing him on the spot.

According to rescue sources, the body of the deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by Edhi volunteers. The identity of the deceased could not be immediately ascertained; however, his age is said to be around 30 years.

Police say that the driver of the water tanker fled the scene after the accident. Police have seized the water tanker and the motorcycle and shifted them to the police station.

According to Site A police, operations are underway to identify the deceased and arrest the getaway driver.
