Gold prices hit record high in Pakistan - Dec 22, 2025: Check new rates
The domestic gold market saw a major increase on Monday, with 24-karat gold rising by Rs6,200 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the new price for one tola of 24Kt gold has reached Rs462,362. The rise affected all types of gold and silver, following the trend in the international market.

24Kt Gold (per tola): Rs462,362 (up Rs6,200)
24Kt Gold (10 grams): Rs396,400 (up Rs5,315)
22Kt Gold (10 grams): Rs363,379 (up Rs4,872)
International Gold: $4,400 per ounce (up $62)
Silver Prices Also Up
Silver (per tola): Rs7,205 (up Rs218)
Silver (10 grams): Rs6,177 (up Rs187)
International Silver: $69.30 per ounce (up $2.18)
Muhammad Qasim Shikarpuri, president of the association, said these rates are based on current interbank exchange rates and the global gold price. Traders said the local price surge is due to a volatile rupee and the steady rise in international bullion prices.
