Gold prices surge in Pakistan – Dec 23, 2025: Check new rates

Gold prices jumped sharply on Tuesday and reached record levels in both international and local markets.

In the international market, gold rose close to the $4,500 per ounce mark. Gold bullion increased by $85 and reached a new all-time high of $4,485 per ounce.

In Pakistan, gold prices also saw a big increase. The price of 24-karat gold went up by Rs8,500 per tola, reaching a new record of Rs470,862 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs7,288 and reached Rs403,688, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged at Rs7,205 per tola after hitting record levels a day earlier.

The sharp rise in gold prices has once again made the precious metal more expensive for buyers in Pakistan.
