Pakistani actress and morning show host Fiza Ali has recently drawn attention on social media after old statements regarding her divorce resurfaced online. Fiza implicitly accused fellow host Nida Yasir of deliberately bringing her past divorce comments back into public discussion.

An old video clip of Fiza Ali, in which she mentioned that her husband had fainted during divorce proceedings, has resurfaced on various social media platforms, sparking renewed public debate.

In a social media statement, Fiza said:
“Instead of focusing on the sensitive matter of divorce itself, more emphasis was placed on the question of why her ex-husband fainted while signing the divorce papers.”

She added that the clip, which had long been forgotten, was deliberately made viral after she spoke in support of bike riders. Fiza explained:
“Whatever I spoke with truth and logic, this is how it was repaid. My divorce and personal life were brought back into the public eye.”

Fiza expressed the emotional toll of having her past personal struggles highlighted again, noting that divorce is already a difficult phase, and women in society are often particularly targeted.

She emphasized her resilience, saying:
“Presenting someone else’s pain as content is inappropriate. Pain has no gender, and respect has no expiry date. My suffering may be old, but my character will always remain clear and strong.”

Fiza challenged her critics, stating:
“If you post my old clips on social media, you will not find my flaws, but you will see how strong and upright my character is.”
