Security forces have continued successful operations against Fitna al-Hindustan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in Balochistan, security sources said.
According to security sources, security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Killi Soran, Panjgur, targeting suspected terrorists linked to the banned group.
During the operation, five terrorists were killed, while several others were reportedly injured. The terrorists were travelling on motorcycles and were preparing to carry out a major terrorist attack.
Security forces successfully targeted the terrorists through the use of modern technology and weapons. A large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from the killed terrorists.
Security sources said that three vehicles, two motorcycles, an IED device and a flag of the banned organisation were also recovered during the operation.
The killed terrorists were allegedly involved in looting local residents, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, target killings and planning suicide attacks, according to security sources.
Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from Balochistan and have reiterated that operations against terrorist networks will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
