Gold prices massive drop in Pakistan – Dec 29, 2025: Check new rates

The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs5,500 and settled at Rs470,162 across Pakistan on Monday, December 29, 2025, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The decline in gold prices came after a fall in the international market, which also affected local bullion markets. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs4,715 to Rs403,088.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down by Rs4,323, reaching Rs369,510.

Silver prices also moved lower in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver per tola fell by Rs332 to Rs8,075, while 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs284 to Rs6,923.

In the international market, gold prices fell by $55 to $4,478 per ounce, while silver prices declined by $3.32 to $76 per ounce.

The association said that gold prices are determined based on interbank exchange rates, and the purity of gold remains 999 (24-karat).
