Historic Moon Hotel Project Set to Open by 2032

The American space company Galactic Resource Utilization Space has announced plans to build the world’s first hotel on the Moon, aiming to open it for tourists by 2032.

According to the company, the hotel will be constructed on Earth and then transported to the lunar surface via a space mission. Initially, the hotel will accommodate up to four guests, offering unique experiences such as moon-viewing, lunar walks, driving, and even golfing on the Moon.

The company added that construction could begin as early as 2029, pending all necessary government approvals. Due to the novelty and logistical challenges, initial pricing will be extremely high, with each guest required to pay the equivalent of one million U.S. dollars in advance. However, as space tourism becomes more common, prices are expected to decrease, similar to how early air travel was initially accessible only to the wealthy.

Experts say the project represents a milestone in the world of space tourism and could pave the way for broader opportunities for ordinary travelers to experience living in space in the future.
