BYD to launch two new electric cars in Pakistan – check prices

BYD is preparing to launch two new electric vehicles in Pakistan, offering advanced features to compete with brands like Tesla and BMW.

According to a report, the new vehicles include:

• BYD Atto 2

• BYD Sealion 7

BYD Atto 2

The Atto 2 is a sub-compact all-electric SUV, smaller and more affordable than the popular Atto 3. It is designed as an entry-level electric SUV.

• Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 for better space and efficiency

• Comes with Blade Battery technology (LFP) in two sizes:

  • 32 kWh (approx. 301 km range)

  • 45.1 kWh (approx. 401 km range)

• Supports DC fast charging: 30% to 80% in about 28 minutes

BYD Sealion 7

The Sealion 7 is a midsize electric SUV, positioned above the Atto 3. It uses BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 Evo with 800V architecture for faster charging and improved efficiency.

• Supports ultra-fast DC charging up to 230 kW (10% to 80% in ~24 minutes)

• Performance AWD version accelerates 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds

Launch Details

BYD has not yet announced the pricing or specific variants for the Pakistani market.

These new EVs are expected to expand BYD’s presence in Pakistan and offer customers modern, high-performance electric vehicles.
