Scotland Trip: Prince William and Kate Amid Security Issues
As a precautionary measure, Prince William and Kate kept some details of their Scotland visit private.
On Tuesday, January 20, the Prince William, Kate arrived in Scotland to attend a couple of events in Stirling and Falkirk, celebrating Scotland’s unique heritage traditions. Royal editor Rebecca English shared that the royals attended only one event publicly on the day, with the other kept private due to security concerns.
A member of Kensington Palace provided updates on the royal couple’s trip from the UK to Scotland.
The Duke and Duchess first visited Stirling’s National Curling Academy to meet Great Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic curling teams. The meeting was held ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games.
