What Really Caused Shefali Jariwala’s Unexpected Death? Husband Parag Tyagi Speaks Out
One year after the sudden passing of Indian actress and television personality Shefali Jariwala, her husband Parag Tyagi has made a startling claim that has once again brought the case into the headlines.
Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the hit song Kanta Laga and later appeared on various reality shows, passed away in June 2025. At the time, doctors officially declared the cause of death as a cardiac attack, and this remains the official stance to date.
However, during a recent podcast, 50-year-old Parag Tyagi claimed that black magic could have played a role in Shefali’s death. He stated that his belief is based on personal experiences and perceptions, not mere suspicion.
Parag said, “Many people don’t believe in these things, but I do. Where there is God, there is also the devil. I am certain that someone must have performed black magic.”
He added, “I repeatedly felt that something was wrong. There were moments we narrowly escaped harm before, but this time it was more serious. Even during prayers, I noticed unusual changes in Shefali. When I sit in devotion, I instinctively sense if something is wrong, and this time, the feeling was overwhelming. I can say with 100% certainty that someone did something.”
Medical experts continue to stand by the initial report, and no new investigation or official action has been announced.
Since Shefali’s passing, Parag Tyagi has openly shared his grief and memories, often posting moments with Shefali on social media. This includes an emotional tribute on her 43rd birthday, reflecting his ongoing affection and remembrance.
