Dakota Johnson Has Blunt Response to MGK Romance Speculation

Dakota Johnson has little interest in how strangers interpret her everyday outings amid the romance rumours with Machine Gun Kelly, aka MGK.

On a September 25 episode of Vogue’s The Run-Through podcast, the Materialist actress brushes off the gossip around her personal life, addressing the false rumours and whispers.

“Even if I go to dinner with my manager or my lawyer, it’s like, ‘Seen with mystery man,’” Johnson noted. “I also don’t care.”

The Verity star was also asked if she ever wants to address it directly and put the rumours to rest.

Johnson responded, “I think it’s just futile. People are gonna believe what they wanna believe, and I don’t have the energy to fight for that.”

The Fifty Shades franchise star added that she’d rather like to put her focus somewhere else because internet rumours are ridiculous.

“Every day, there’s something on the internet that’s ridiculous and true or not true, and I don’t care,” she said.

Johnson is currently at the centre of romance speculation involving rapper Machine Gun Kelly, with sources claiming the pair sparked a connection at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s summer wedding.

While she did not address any specific rumours on the podcast, Johnson had a blunt three-word message for those speculating about her love life: “Get a life.”
