Iran Warns of “All-Out War” as US Sends Large Military Force to Middle East

Tehran, (January 24, 2026): Iran has issued a strong warning to the United States, saying that any military strike will be treated as an “all-out war”. The statement came as the US prepares to send a major naval force, including an aircraft carrier strike group, to the Middle East.

A senior Iranian official, speaking anonymously, said Iran is now on full military alert and is preparing for the worst-case scenario.

Iran Says It Is Ready for Any Attack

The official said Iran hopes the US military build-up is not meant for real conflict. However, he stressed that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared.

“This time, any kind of attack — whether small or large — will be treated as total war,” the official said. “We will respond in the hardest way possible.”

He added that Iran sees the current US movements as a serious threat and is closely monitoring the situation.

Trump Talks About US ‘Armada’

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that an American “armada” is moving toward the region. He claimed the move was meant as a warning and said he hoped force would not be necessary.

Trump also warned Iran against restarting its nuclear programme or using violence against protesters.

Iran Warns Against Violation of Sovereignty

The Iranian official said any violation of Iran’s sovereignty or territorial borders would lead to immediate retaliation.

“If the United States crosses our red lines, we will respond,” he said, without giving details of what Iran’s response might involve.

He also said that Iran, facing constant threats, must rely on all its military capabilities to defend itself.

Rising Tensions in the Region

The US has previously sent extra forces to the Middle East during periods of high tension. These deployments were often described as defensive.

However, tensions remain high after the US carried out strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities last year, raising fears of another direct confrontation.

Analysts warn that any military clash between Iran and the US could destabilise the entire region and affect global security.
