Sindh Cabinet Approves Rs10 Million Compensation for Gul Plaza Victims

Karachi: The Sindh cabinet has approved a compensation of Rs 10 million each to the families of those martyred in the Gul Plaza tragedy.

In a provincial cabinet meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, it was informed that Rs. 500,000 each is being paid to shopkeepers affected by the Gul Plaza tragedy through the commissioner for kitchen and utility expenses.

The Sindh cabinet approved providing interest-free loans of Rs 10 million each to the affected shopkeepers, and on this occasion, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that it is the responsibility of all of us to provide all possible relief to the affected people.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that this loan is being given to shopkeepers to restart their business. The Sindh government will pay the interest due on the one crore rupees.

Murad Ali Shah said that all affected shopkeepers will be provided with shop facilities to start their business within two months. We will take all possible steps for the protection and convenience of shopkeepers.
