LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced the eligibility rules and distribution schedule for the Ramzan Nigehban Card. This program is designed to support low-income families across the province during the holy month of Ramzan.

Officials said that data collection for the scheme is 94% complete. The remaining work in cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, and other areas will be finished by February 5. Once completed, the card distribution process will move forward as planned.

The program is meant for families earning Rs. 45,000 or less per month. Around 42 lakh families across Punjab are expected to benefit from this financial support to help manage household expenses during Ramzan.

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for the Ramzan Nigehban Card, families must meet these conditions:

• Monthly household income should be Rs. 45,000 or less

• The program is for low-income and financially struggling families

• Only Punjab residents can apply

• Families must pass a government verification process

• All information provided must be correct and truthful

• Priority will be given to families most in need

• Only one card will be issued per family

• Families already receiving other government aid may be reviewed under policy rules

The government has said strict checks will be carried out to ensure transparency and that help reaches deserving families only.

If your information is missing or outdated:

2. Log in using your CNIC and mobile number

3. Update or verify your household details

4. Make sure your address and mobile number are correct
