01 February, 2026 10:52

Security forces in Balochistan successfully neutralized 133 terrorists associated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan during a high-intensity, two-day operation. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these foreign-sponsored militants launched coordinated attacks across several cities on January 31 in a deliberate attempt to disrupt regional peace.

The ISPR reported that the terrorists targeted Quetta, Mastung, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Gwadar, and Pasni, resulting in the tragic martyrdom of 18 civilians, including women, children, and laborers. In a swift and vigorous counteroffensive, security forces foiled multiple attacks and killed 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers, during the immediate response. This brought the total number of terrorists killed across the province over the 48-hour period to 133.

The military’s media wing further confirmed that 15 brave soldiers laid down their lives during the clearance operations. Intelligence reports indicate that these assaults were orchestrated by terrorist leaders based outside Pakistan, and the ISPR emphasized that all planners, facilitators, and aides would be brought to justice at all costs.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed that the operation has been completed and commended the security forces for their befitting reply to the attackers. He stated that even ten such attacks could not weaken the nation’s resolve and reiterated that there would be no compromise on peace. While honoring the high morale of the martyrs’ families, the Chief Minister vowed that every drop of blood shed would be fully accounted for.
