OGRA Raises LPG Prices in Pakistan - Check New Rates
Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices, effective February 1, 2026.
According to an official OGRA notification, “the price of LPG has been raised by PKR 6.37 per kilogram, bringing the new price for domestic cylinders to PKR 75.21 per kilogram.”
The regulator explained that the price hike is driven by rising global LPG rates and higher import costs. The increase is expected to affect households, particularly those that rely on LPG for cooking and daily domestic use.
OGRA has urged consumers to explore alternative energy sources to help manage household expenses amid the surge in fuel costs. The announcement highlights ongoing pressures on domestic energy prices as global markets continue to influence local rates.
