Resident Evil Requiem Rumours About Chris and Ada Denied
As the release of Resident Evil Requiem gets closer on February 27, many rumours are spreading online. Fans were hoping to see popular characters like Ada Wong and Chris Redfield return in the new game. However, a trusted source has clearly denied these claims.
Well-known Resident Evil insider Dusk Golem has called these rumours a “fake leak.” He said that he never shared or supported this information. According to him, Ada Wong and Chris Redfield will not appear in the game in any major way.
Dusk Golem also reminded fans that the game’s director had already confirmed earlier that Chris Redfield would not be part of Requiem. While there could be a small reference, such as a file or mention, players should not expect to see him in person. He added that some older characters may appear in future DLC, but likely not Chris or Ada.
Even so, the game still has strong characters. Capcom has officially confirmed the return of Leon S. Kennedy. He will share the spotlight with a new character named Grace Ashcroft. The Umbrella Corporation is also back, hinting at a serious and dangerous story.
Resident Evil Requiem will launch on February 27 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
