Pakistan announces deadline for Hajj 2026 biometric registration
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has set February 8 as the last date for Hajj 2026 pilgrims to complete their biometric registration for visa processing.
According to a ministry spokesperson, pilgrims should use the Saudi Visa Bio App to complete their registration from home. However, if anyone faces problems with fingerprint scanning or confirmation, they can get help from their respective banks.
To make the process easier, the government has also set up six Tasheer Centers across Pakistan. The ministry said the Saudi Visa Bio App should be used first. The app can be downloaded easily from mobile app stores.
To complete registration, pilgrims must sign up on the app using their email, upload a passport scan, take a selfie, and provide fingerprints of both hands. After completing all steps, a confirmation email will be sent, which pilgrims should keep for future use.
If pilgrims are unable to complete the process through the app, they can visit their nearest Tasheer Center or contact their bank branch for assistance.
The Tasheer Centers are located in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, and Quetta. These centers will remain open Monday to Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
