CM Sindh Murad Ali Shah Praises Police Sacrifices at Passing-Out Parade
At the passing-out parade held at the Shahid Hayat Police Training College in Saeedabad, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah addressed the ceremony and highlighted the ongoing modernization of the institution. He emphasized that the provincial government is providing modern facilities and professional training to the force, noting that the police serve as the fundamental protectors of the public’s lives and property.
The Chief Minister praised the Sindh Police for their decisive actions against terrorism and organized crime, which have led to a significant reduction in crime rates and the establishment of peace across the province. He remarked that the rule of law is vital for strengthening public confidence and noted that both the government and the citizens hold high expectations for the force.
Reflecting on the challenges faced by law enforcement, Murad Ali Shah reported that 35 police personnel have been martyred this year alone. He stated that the sacrifices made in the line of duty, particularly against terrorism, will never be forgotten.
Regarding operational successes in the Katcha area, the Chief Minister shared that police killed 207 robbers, injured 418, and arrested 1,038 others over the past year. Furthermore, 114 robbers surrendered to authorities, and 407 abductees were successfully rescued. He concluded by reaffirming that all lawbreakers will be brought to justice to ensure continued regional stability.
