Rain likely to hit Karachi tomorrow: PMD
Karachi is expected to receive thunderstorms with light to moderate rain tomorrow, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). The change in weather is due to a westerly wave that is likely to enter the western parts of the country.
The Met Office also warned that strong winds may blow in the city. It added that temperatures could rise on Saturday and Sunday, possibly reaching 34°C or higher.
During the holy month of Ramadan, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain moderate, with temperatures staying around 30°C.
PMD Deputy Director Anjum Nazir Zaighum said that rain is likely in the city between 2pm and 3pm tomorrow.
Apart from Karachi, showers are also expected in Dadu, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Jamshoro, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad and Khairpur. Rain is likely in these areas during the evening or night today and also on Tuesday.
