PSX Ramadan 2026 Timing: Trading Hours Revised for Holy Month

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced new trading hours for Ramadan 2026. The market will operate for shorter hours to make it easier for traders during the fasting month.

From Monday to Thursday, the market will open at 9:15 AM and close at 1:30 PM for regular trading. On Fridays, trading will start earlier at 9:00 AM and end at 12:30 PM.

Office timings during Ramadan will also change. From Monday to Thursday, office hours will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. On Fridays, offices will close at 2:00 PM.

Meanwhile, banks across Pakistan will remain closed for public transactions today. This is to allow the deduction of Zakat from eligible accounts.

The Administrator General Zakat has set this year’s nisab at Rs. 535,529. A 2.5 percent Zakat deduction will apply to savings and profit-and-loss sharing accounts that have balances equal to or above this amount.

These changes are part of the usual Ramadan schedule. After Ramadan ends, PSX trading and office hours will return to normal.
