Naveed Kamran Baloch Appointed Federal Ombudsman

Islamabad: The Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a formal notification regarding the appointment of Naveed Kamran Baloch as the Federal Ombudsman.

The President approved the appointment for a term of four years. The notification confirms that the appointment is effective immediately.

Earlier in May 2019, the Cabinet Secretariat/Establishment Division announced on Thursday that Mohammad Younus Dagha was dismissed from his position as secretary of finance.

Naveed Kamran Baloch was promoted from cabinet division secretary to finance secretary, according to a separate announcement.

Baloch was the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa before. On October 22, 1985, he began working in the civil service. Prior to this, he served as Secretary National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Division, Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), as a grade 22 officer. His retirement date is March 7, 2021.
