ISPR holds key briefing on operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) held an important session with journalists from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to discuss Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq.

During the briefing, officials emphasized that Pakistan has no issue with Afghanistan or its people. However, the Afghan Taliban regime is acting as a central “proxy master” for terrorism in the region and has become a threat to regional peace and stability by supporting multiple terrorist groups.

The Taliban regime must choose whether to align with Pakistan or with terrorist organizations. Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq is part of Pakistan’s ongoing fight against terrorism and will continue until the Taliban provide credible guarantees and take practical steps.

The session highlighted that groups like Khawarij Islam are promoting a distorted and self-made interpretation of Islam, which has no connection with real Islam, terrorism, or suicide attacks. Attacks on women, mosques, and the misuse of religious traditions for terrorism are against Islamic teachings. Religious scholars from all schools of thought have declared the fight against Khawarij and their supporters as a virtuous jihad.

Pakistan is targeting Khawarij and Fitan-e-Hindustan hideouts, including launch pads near the border. Officials stressed that national unity and full implementation of the National Action Plan are essential to eliminate terrorism.

The briefing also warned that those who consider Pakistan’s security a threat in the context of Iran and regional developments are acting foolishly.
