PSL 11 ‘Infinity’ Trophy Unveiled in Karachi Ahead of New Season

Karachi’s National Bank Stadium hosted the unveiling of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11’s new “Infinity” trophy on Wednesday, showcasing its sleek golden design, sparkling crystals, and crescent-star crown to fans.

The league shared the first look at the silverware through a 47-second video on its social media platforms, highlighting the meticulous crafting process. The trophy features a tall, elegant golden body rising from a round base, decorated with vertical patterns of shimmering stones and crystals that glitter under the light. Two curved golden arms extend upward from the sides, meeting near the top, and the summit is adorned with a crescent and star inspired by Pakistan’s national flag. “The crescent is studded with small crystals, while a polished metallic star sits slightly above it, creating a symbolic and visually striking crown.”

The gold-plated base rests on a black cylindrical pedestal displaying PSL branding. According to the league, 18 artisans designed the trophy, dedicating 2,600 hours to complete it.

PSL 11, the league’s historic 11th edition, will feature eight teams, including new entrants Pindiz and Hyderabad Kingsmen, competing across 44 matches from March 26 to May 3. The tournament will open with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen at their home ground on March 26.

Each team will play 10 matches, with the top four advancing to the playoffs, which include Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final scheduled at Gaddafi Stadium on May 3, with a reserve day on May 4. The edition will also feature six double-headers, three of which will be held at Gaddafi Stadium. Matches will be hosted across six venues in Pakistan, with Faisalabad and Peshawar joining Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi for the first time.
