Hot and Humid Weather Expected in Karachi Today, Says Meteorological Department

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted intense heat and strong sunshine in Karachi today.

According to the department, the weather in the city will remain dry with humid conditions, which may increase discomfort for residents during the daytime.

Officials said the temperature in Karachi may reach up to 37°C today. The department also reported that the maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 38.3°C.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department added that the humidity level in the air is currently around 63 percent, which is contributing to the feeling of heat and humidity in the city.

Meanwhile, northeast winds are blowing at a speed of around 6 kilometers per hour, according to the latest weather update.

Residents have been advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours as the hot weather continues in the city.
