Security Forces Neutralize Five Terrorists in Lakki Marwat: ISPR
On 15 March 2026, Pakistani security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Lakki Marwat District following reports of the presence of khwarij linked to an Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.
“During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, five Khwarij were sent to hell,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed militants, who had reportedly been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.
A follow-up sanitization operation is underway to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored kharji in the area. The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts, under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full pace to eradicate foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
