NADRA Signals Possible Increase in ID Card and B-Form Fees After June 2026

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has advised citizens to renew their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC) or convert children’s B-Forms into full identity cards before June 30, 2026, warning that fees may increase after this deadline.

In a notice shared on social media, NADRA encouraged people to update their identification documents as soon as possible. Officials said timely renewal will help citizens avoid potential fee increases and penalties in the coming months.

Authorities also urged parents whose children do not yet have a B-Form to apply for the document immediately. The registration authority stressed that proper documentation is essential for accessing government services, education, and legal procedures in Pakistan.

CNIC Renewal Fee Structure

According to the current fee schedule, CNIC renewal applications are processed under three categories based on urgency:

Officials say applicants who choose the executive category can receive their renewed identity cards in less than a week.

B-Form Fee in March 2026

For children’s identity registration, the Child Registration Certificate (B-Form) remains one of the most important documents. As of early 2026:

  • Normal B-Form Fee: Rs50

  • Executive B-Form Fee: Rs500

NADRA said parents should ensure their children are properly registered to avoid complications in the future.

Citizens Advised to Complete Process Early

Authorities have asked citizens to visit the nearest NADRA registration centers and complete renewal or registration procedures before June 30, 2026.

Officials said updating identity documents on time will help people avoid higher fees and ensure uninterrupted access to official services across Pakistan.
