Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Hit Karachi Across Multiple Areas

Karachi experienced heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds across several areas, causing temporary disruptions in daily life.

Meteorological reports confirmed rain in multiple localities including Site Area, Mauripur, Lyari, and surrounding neighborhoods. Additional showers were recorded in central Karachi, including Metropolitan, Saddar, and I.I. Chundrigar Road.

Rainfall also affected Hussain Square and Gulshan-e-Iqbal regions, while northern sectors including North Karachi, Nagan Chowrangi, and North Nazimabad witnessed moderate downpours. Areas such as Manghopir, Site Area, Nazimabad, and Liaquatabad also reported significant rainfall.

Further reports indicated heavy showers in Lines Area, Groomer, Jahangir Road, Lasbela, and Teen Hatti, with some locations experiencing strong gusty winds. Jamshaid Road, Jail Road, Azizabad, Federal B Area, and Gulberg were also affected.

Authorities have advised residents to exercise caution while traveling, as roads may be slippery and visibility could be reduced due to localized storms and high winds. The meteorological department is monitoring the situation and has issued warnings for potential urban flooding in low-lying areas.
